Wow, it has been a while! Between picking up extra shifts at work, living in the middle of a kitchen remodel and trying to enjoy what's left of summer... let's just say life has been busy! I figured I owed you all a project...make that several projects.
Remember the pocket card I shared a while ago? (Here's the link if you miss it). I have been wanting to try it out with some different Designer Series Paper. As expected, every one turned out amazing! This layout is foolproof. Especially when paired with Stampin' Up!'s effortless product coordination.
I used the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper on this first card along with the Free as a Bird Stamp set, some blends and the coordinating ribbon for the suite.
Here I used one of the stamp sets from the Experience Creativity brochure - Magnolia Blooms. The smaller images were perfect for this card. The magnolia flower was super simple to color with the Stampin' blends too.
The last design uses the Memorable Mosaic stamp set and Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper.
When assembling the diagonal pieces, make sure to only apply adhesive to the outside boarders so your card does not get stuck when you pull it in and out. You wouldn't even have to put these on a card base - you could treat it like a post card and sign your name on the card insert. Such a simple project!
