Stampin' Up! Updates - April 9th, 2019
Hi all! Lots of exciting updates and changes were announced this week. I wanted to give you all an update.
#1 The Stampin' Trimmer and accessories will be retiring June 3rd. There will not be a new trimmer in the new annual catalog. Why you ask? Quality is very important to us at Stampin' Up! and there have been some complaints with the quality of the blades and trimmer in general. Since SU! listens to its customers and demonstrators, they've decided to come out with a better trimmer.
What should you do? Stock up on cutting and scoring blades so you can keep using your trimmer for years to come!
#2 The Big Shot and accessories will also be retiring June 3rd. SU! will be coming out with a new die-cutting and embossing machine, but it will not be in the new annual catalog in June. We want to make sure that everything is perfect with a new product before releasing it to customers. The new catalog will have a new type of framelits. The good news - you can still use them in your current Big Shot! SU! wants to move into a direct-to-manufacture relationship so we have more control over the quality of the product. Which is good news for everyone!
What should you do? Stock up on extra cutting plates, platforms, embossing mats, etc. so you can keep using your Big Shot!
#3 Starting June 3, 2019, Paper Pumpkin month-to-month subscriptions will increase $2.05. The price of a one month subscription will increased $2. Shipping costs have continued to increase since Paper Pumpkin began and this price change is being made in an effort to maintain quality.
What should you do? Keep enjoying the high quality of the Paper Pumpkin kits! But, if you don't want to be affected by the price change, consider purchasing a prepaid code for 3, 6 or 12 months. When you purchase a full year of Paper Pumpkin, you get 1 kit completely free!
One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! is their willingness to innovate upon customer and demonstrator request. All of these changes reflect that! I am proud to be part of a company that continues to focus on the customer experience and inspire creativity.
As always, if you have any questions or would like to place an order for these retiring products, please feel free to contact me or shop with me online here.
