Valentine's Day! 3x3 love notes & treat box

It is almost Valentine's Day! This is usually not my favorite holiday and I haven't handed out Valentine's for a long time...really since Kindergarten. But when I saw the Hey Love stamp set, I just knew I would have to make some adorable Valentine's!

How can you not love these little critters?! They are great for coloring too - which I love! I made four different 3x3 love notes and a stinkin' cute treat box using the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes.

Here's a video showing you how to make the projects.

It's hard to choose which animal is my favorite. But you can't go wrong with the otter pun - "You otter be my valentine." That will put a smile on anyone's face! For the background, I stamped one sentiment full strength and filled the rest in with stamped-off sentiments.

Dimensions: Poppy Parade DSP 3" x 6" scored at 3", Whisper White 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" (outside and inside)

Ink colors: Poppy Parade, Memento Tuxedo Black

Additional Supplies: Stampin Blends (light and dark Crumb Cake, dark Petal Pink, dark Poppy Parade), Epoxy heart droplets (colored with dark Poppy Parad), 1 3/4" circle punch

This little skunk is pretty stinkin' cute, too! I affectionately named her Deliliah while making this card. The sentiments that make up the background are all stamped off once.

Dimensions: Gorgeous Grape DSP 3" x 6" scored at 3", Whisper White 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" (outside and inside)

Ink colors: Gorgeous Grape, Memento Tuxedo Black

Additional Supplies: Stampin Blends (light and dark Smokey Slate, dark flirty Flamingo), 1 3/4" circle punch, 2" circle punch

I really like the clean lines on this Flirty Flamingo designer series paper. It ads some flair to this Ape card.

Dimensions: Flirty Flamingo DSP 3" x 6" scored at 3", Flirty Flamingo 2 3/8" x 2 1/2", Whisper White (outside) 2 1/4" x 2", Whisper White (inside) 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Ink colors: Memento Tuxedo Black

Additional Supplies: Stampin Blends (light and dark Crumb Cake, dark flirty Flamingo), All My Love ribbon combo pack

This gator (or crocodile?) is just too precious with his little heart ears. The Bermuda Bay designer series paper really makes him pop. For this sentiment, I stamped one in full strength and then stamped off twice before reinking. I really like the effect this created.

Dimensions: Bermuda Bay DSP 3" x 6" scored at 3", Whisper White 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" (outside and inside), Whisper White

This stamp set was perfect to use with the clear tiny treat boxes. This project was part of my January card class and it was a big hit! I mean, who can resist this adorable skunk?? These are super easy to make and would be great for Valentine's treats at school, a party, or just a get together with friends.
