Four Corner Fold Card - Super fun!

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for joining me for my FIRST blog post...Eeeeek! This is the time of year for making (and breaking) New Year's Resolutions. We've all been there -- This year I'm going to start eating healthier or exercising more or save more money. Sometimes we stick to these goals, but let's be honest - a lot of times we forget about them by February... *guilty!*

Well, this year is different - I made some goals for my Stampin' Up! business that I AM going to stick to. And I need your help to hold me accountable! Goal number 1: Create a blog. CHECK! I hope all my goals will be this easy :)

Goal number 2: Post to my blog at least once a week. I also want to continue posting my Share It Saturday videos on Facebook once a week. (If you haven't seen them, check them out here).

Make sure to subscribe to my blog here. If you don't see a post from me every week, call me out on it!

So enough talk about goals... Let's do some stamping!!

Today's card features Stampin' Up!'s Twinkle Twinkle Suite of products. I just LOVE this suite! While it is perfectly geared towards making baby cards, it can work for many different occasions.

This card design is perfect to show off your favorite Designer Series Paper.

Dimensions:
Gray Granite Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Designer Series Paper of your choice - cut to 2 5/8" x 2" (4 per card)
Whisper White cardstock - 5 1/4" x 4"
Night of Navy cardstock - punched with 2" circle punch
Whisper White cardstock - punched with 1 3/4" circle punch
Scrap of Pool Party and Petal Pink cardstock - for using Twinkle Builder punch
Scrap of cardstock for folding template

Instructions:
1. Use a scrap of cardstock to make a template measuring 2 5/8" x 1/2". You will use this as a guide when folding.
2. Arrange four squares of the DSP on your card front until you get your desired look. It helps to look at the back side too to see what your card will look like once you fold back the corners.
3. Place your template on the top edge of the upper left piece of DSP. Fold the bottom right corner up to the edge of the template and crease.

4. Move on to the upper right piece of DSP. With your template on the top edge, fold the bottom left corner up to the edge of the template and crease.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the bottom pieces of DSP, placing the template at the bottom edge and folding down.

6. Adhere all four pieces of DSP to the card front with snail adhesive. Adhere corner flaps with dimensionals.
7. Stamp sentiment on whisper white and punch with 1 3/4" circle. Add stars from the Twinkle builder punch in Pool Party and Petal Pink using fine tip glue.
8. Adhere sentiment to 2" Night of Navy circle with snail adhesive. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
9. Add a bow with Silver & Pool Party twine. Adhere with a mini glue dot.
10. Stamp 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card. Adhere with snail adhesive.

And voila! ... an adorable baby card featuring some beautiful DSP
